My little family has grown by 4 feet. This is ka’ena. #Puppyfever #crazyanimalpeople #finallyhaveapuppy
I tried to say I would update/write more once I got back. But it’s been way too hectic. No news is good news right?
There have been a lot of things being planned lately, mainly because our original plan seems to have gone out the window with Rambo’s journey number in Tokyo. Things are slowly coming back together, but it’s nothing official yet.
School started this week and so far it’s nothing new for me.
And this is the reason I haven’t written. But we’re alive, we’re well, we’re NOT pregnant, and we’re just kind of winging it.
This is what happens when you stay up all night partying and going through the trashcan. Good job Rambo. #Selfie #rambothecat #softkittywarmkitty #littleballoffur #happykittysleepykitty #purpurpur
First selfie posted from my new phone. I’m back in Hawai’i ;) #Selfie #beenoffthesmartphonewagon #backon #hotelparty #notreally
So, now that the surprises are done, I can finally say we are finally back in Hawai`i. :)
It was definitely a stressful journey to get here though. First, in Okinawa my husband forgot his orders along with a bunch of other paperwork in the car after our friends dropped us off. We had to wait about half an hour in order to check in. Then we get to Tokyo, pick up Rambo, head to the United counter & they tell us that Petsafe has cancelled our journey number and without it we can’t fly. So they were trying to find another airline to put us on. An hour later, they have us set up on Japan Airlines on a flight that leaves and comes in 3 hours later than our original one and we need to be shuttled to the other terminal. An hour and a half after, we have our tickets and Rambo checked in to that flight. The flight from Tokyo to Hawaii was smooth, until we landed. We had to wait 30 minutes in the plane because immigration was too crowded. After we were let off the plane we grabbed our baggage from the agent who has to take us to the quarantine office at the airport. It was a short walk and when I got there I thought we were home free. But….of course not. The agent did not know how to fill out her paperwork. So it took about 10 minutes trying to explain to her what the office wanted on the paperwork and where.
But we finally got here and surprised our families. It worked out, but man…I will never fly United again because of this.
Don’t even get me started on the Marine Corps part of this transition.
Disney’s touching tribute to Robin Williams.
I need a 12-hour nap, minus the bullshit. Thanks.
Petsafe strikes again!
